It has been identified that a file associated with vWorkspace bidirectional audio, pnmicsrv.dll, does not have the correct image hash associated to comply with Windows Code Integrity checks. This can cause problems with Windows and has been seen to affect the following services on a vWorkspace 7.6 RDSH server:
Windows Audio Service
DHCP Client Service
Windows Eventlog Service
TCP/IP Netbios Helper-Services
In some case these 4 services will stop as a result of the code integrity check.
The problem only affects the vWorkspace 7.6 version of the file, renaming the file C:\Windows\system32\pnmicsrv.dll and replacing it with either the vWorkspace 7.5 or 7.2 version will provide a workaround.
The defect has been submitted to the vWorkspace development team for consideration in a future version of vWorkspace
