When launching a .PIT file or using Web Access, a PIT file error occurs including the message
"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"
The File Association has been changed incorrectly in the Registry and points to a program that no longer exists.
1. The easiest way to fix this is to go to Add/Remove Programs.
2.Click on the Quest vWorkspace Client (aka vWorkspace Connector for Windows)
3. Select the Repair option.
Once this has finished, the registry keys should be fixed and the connection will work again.
