Universal Printer redirection not working on 2008 R2 VDI (85133)

Universal Printer redirection not working on 2008 VDI. When looking at the installed Printer Drivers, the x64 Universal Print Driver is missing.

x64 Universal Print Driver was not installed. This can be caused by UAC.

Workaround 1:

1. Download the attached Zip file
2. Import the 3 .reg files
3. Reboot the server.

This will correctly register the x64 driver and allow you to use Universal Printing.

Workaround 2:

Reinstall the vWorkspace suite running in "Run as Admin" mode. It'll be helpful to turn UAC off during the installation. Please note that changing UAC status requires server's reboot for changes to take effect.
