Pinned Shortcuts removed after logoff/login (75136)

When deploying "Remote Desktop Shortcuts" to Terminal Server. If users then pin/copy these shortcuts to another location, the copy disappears at next login

We recreate the Remote Desktop Shortcuts at each login to ensure they are accurate and valid. This causes the copy to vanish as they point to a shortcut that no longer exists

Workaround

Use the vWorkspace Management Console to also deploy the Remote Desktop Shortcut to the location that the User wants.

Or

Make sure the User creates a shortcut from the actual application itself and not the shortcut to the application.

Status

An Enhancement has been logged to give the option to not recreate the Remote Desktop Shortcuts at login.
