To resolve schedule the uninstall/reinstall PNTools on a VDI perform the following
1. Open the vWorkspace Management Console
2. Expand “vWorkspace_Farm” | “Locations” | “Location1” | “Desktops”
3. Right Click on the Desktop Group or Individual VDI from the Desktop Group and select “Properties”
4. Select the “Task Automation” tab
5. Click “New”
6. In the “Automated Task Wizard” select Next on the welcome screen
7. Provide a name for the task. For example, “Uninstall PNTools” and click Next
8. In the “Task” tab, scroll to the “MSI Packages” section and select “PNTools: Uninstall”, then click Next
9. Select the Schedule for this task; For Example, select Execute Once, on 01\01\2011, at 12:00am
a. NOTE: If there is a user logged into the VDI when this task is supposed to run the task will not begin until the user logs off.
10. Click “Finish”
11. Repeat steps 3-8, except select the “PNTools: Install/Update” instead of Uninstall
