When attempting to provide a Custom Address Translation Settings within the Firewall/SSL VPN settings section, the following error message may be received: Incorrect format
To resolve the issue above and ensure that Custom Address Translation Settings are enabled in Web Access edit the webit.FARMNAME.config file on your Web Access server.
The file is located in: \Inetpub\wwwroot\Provision\web-it\conf. Ensure that a backup of this file is made prior to making any modifications.
Edit the file in any Text editor (notepad/wordpad)
1. Find the following: <AddrPrefList>
2. Enter the Client Address Prefixes in the following format:
10.1.1. - Normal
10.10. - SSL
3. Save the file and test connections
(Note an IISRESET may need to be run on all web servers involved)
In Example the information would look similar to the following for a prefix of 10.10.:
<AddrPrefList>10.10. - Normal</AddrPrefList>
If there are multiple Translations to be set, they need to be separated using a semi-colon ( ; ). A string with multiple setting should look like:
<AddrPrefList>10.1. - Normal; 10.10. - SSL; 10.1.2. - Normal</AddrPrefList>
