vWorkspace Connector (vasclient32.exe) not installing on x64 machines via SCCM Software Center -
Description
When installing the AppPortal from SCCM as follows: vasclient32.exe /s /v"/qn ENABLESSO=\"1\" ALLUSERS=\"1\" DESKTOPSHORTCUT=\"\" STARTUPSHORTCUT=\"1\"" the installation works fine on x86 based machines but fails on x64 machines (Windows 7 and 8.1).
The error is as follows: "The software change returned error code 0x653(1619)."

Cause
The logs reveal that the MSI extracted from vasclient32.exe is stored in one location but the installer looks in a seperate folder and fails to find the extracted file when installed via SCCM. -
Resolution
Workaround
Specify the directory in which to cache the installation files.
Example:vasclient32.exe /s /b"C:\Temp" /v"/qn ENABLESSO=\"1\" ALLUSERS=\"1\" DESKTOPSHORTCUT=\"\" STARTUPSHORTCUT=\"1\""
