PasswordExpiredPassthruMode does not work through webaccess. When a user attempts to logon with an expired password the following error is seen:
Error: Cannot connect to a vWorkspace Connection Broker. Please contact your System Administrator.
Looking in the Broker log the following error is seen:
ERROR: Failed to get entity information from Active Directory
When connecting with AppPortal the user is able to connect and change their passord.
To resolve, change User Domains in the Web Access settings to be the Netbios domain name:
In the vWorkspace console select Web Access
Select the web access site and click properties.
Under User Domains, remove any domains that are set as FQDN and re-add as the Netbois name, e.g. change vworkspace.local to vworkspace.
Apply the changes and update the website.
