Failed to create vRanger snapshot: Check the status of your VM
Description

Backup or replication tasks fail with the above error message even though the ESX(i) host shows vStorage API as a licensed feature. Attempting snapshot through the MOB also fails.
Resolution

Possable resolutions are:
- restart management services
- reboot ESX(i) host
- contact VMware
