Error Message: Invoke or Begin Invoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has b (4047469)

When attempting to create a backup job with vRanger wizard the following error occurs: Error Message: Invoke or Begin Invoke cannot be called on a control
until the window handle has been created

Error in vRanger Database

1. Stop the vRanger services
2. Restart the SQL server if possible
3. Run the vRanger DB tool - Select the option to upgrade.
4. Restart the vRanger services.

If you still experience the same issue you may need to recreate the DB.

1. Stop the vRanger Services
2. Delete the vRanger DB from the SQL server (using SQL Management Studio) and delete any vRanger DB files left over.
3. Recreate the DB with the vRanger tool (Start - All Programs - Quest Software - vRanger... - vRanger Database) and configure vRanger from a fresh start.
4. Restart the vRanger services

Note: When restarting the vRanger serivces, restart them in the following order.

• vRanger Service
• Wait a moment after the vRanger service shows as running then start the vRanger API service
• vRanger FLR service
