Vizioncore recommends the COS reservation changes to made on the ESX hosts to optimize the regular backup of VMs. These ESX resource reservations are not mandatory and recommended only for operation efficiency.
The ESX host recommendations are based on Vizioncore and customer experience. By increasing the amount of CPU time reserved for the service console and allocating 800MB of RAM, provides greater resource availability for the compression engine as well as ensuring efficient snapshot operation for multiple VMs.
If you are using ESX hosts then please
You will also want to check the configuration of your ESX hosts Service Console for the following resource adjustments.
