Restore fails with "The given key was not present in the dictionary".
Description

German customers see this error as Der angegebene "Schlüssel war nicht im Wörterbuch angegeben"
VC/ESX fails to create a VM with parameters defined in VmConfig. File content is does not match original VM configuration. VM had 2 disks: IDE and SCSI, they were added at different time and order they are presented in VmConfig is incorrect. Disk 1 (per VmConfig) was actually 2nd.
Cause

some VC/ESX/VM inconsistency
Resolution

manual restore is the only approach at this moment.
