Description
A Snapshot hardware configuration mismatch error is thrown for both vRanger and the Virtual Center.

Cause
If you Right-Click and Edit Settings… the virtual machine that is giving this error, if you see an attached ISO that is what could be causing this error.

Resolution
Resolution:
- Right-Click on the VM with the error
- Click on Edit Settings…
- Click on the disk that has the ISO attached
- Click Remove
- Click on Remove from virtual machine
- Click OK
- Run a backup
