The virtual appliance 'va_name' has not been configured with a required data disk. -
Description
Attempting a VA based replication results in the error message: The virtual appliance 'va_name' has not been configured with a required data disk.

Cause
The cause is unknown. It was confirmed that the VA did have the required scratch disk. The VAs were rebooted and then removed and re-added back to vRanger. DNS , Hostname, and IP address were correct. It is suspected that the root cause had to do with the mounting of the scratch disk to the VA but it was decided to simply remove and re-add as this was easy to do from the created template.

Resolution
Deleting the VA and recreating it resolved this issue.
