Receive error when trying to add a CIFs repository to a mapped network drive.
Error Message:
Failed to connect to repository. Please verify credentials and ensure directory path is correct.
The Network Mapped drive was not shared and vRanger did not have the authority to create a repository along with writing a global manifest file to this location.
Create a network share for the repository location. Verify you have enough free space to create the savepoint share at this location for your environments needs.
Modify share permissions for your installation, by default the user Everyone will have read rights to this directory.
Add the vRanger user ID to this share and give full control rights to this user so they can create, delete and modify the directory structure according to the implementations needs.
