Will vRanger backup iSCSI/Fiber LUNs presented to a physical server and formatted as NTFS volumes?

Cause
The physical server has one (or multiple) HDDs and other volumes, which are iSCSI or Fiber SAN LUNs presented to the server and formatted as NTFS volumes. Can vRanger backup such volumes and then restore them?

Resolution
Backing up SAN LUNs is not a supported scenario, since they are not a part of the server itself.
vRanger can backup such volumes, however there is no guarantee that they can be restored. When the target server is booted from vRanger boot CD/USB, it will not see the LUNs (unless they were presented earlier on a hardware level), so vRanger will not be able to restore them during the full restore. As a workaround, the content of these LUNs may be restored via FLR (please check the FLR limitations in Installation Guide to make sure this method is applicable for specific server).
