When a backup, restore or replication job completes, Emails are not being sent.
A manual on-demand job works correctly and Email is sent.
A possible cause of this is that vRanger is installed on a Windows 7 machine, and the machine has gone into standby mode at the time of the backup.
A possible solution is to remove all automatic standby and hibernation settings from the vRanger machine
1. Navigate to Control Panel - Power Options
2. You will be using either Balanced or Power saver, click on 'change plan settings' for your preferred plan
3. Ensure that the option 'Put the computer to sleep' is set to 'Never' in the drop down menu
