The vRanger VSS Plug-in fails to install
Either the target operating system is not VSS capable, and/or the necessary version of the .NET Framework is not installed on guest operating system, and/or the user name and password inputted for the guest operating system is incorrect.
1.Check with Microsoft documentation to see whether or not the guest operating system is VSS compatible/aware.
(note: VSS integration is only available with Microsoft applications)
2.Load .NET Framework 2.0 on the guest operating system.
(note: Doing a Windows Update on the operating system will usually present this option)
3.The password required for VSS integration must be an Administrator (i.e. must have access to run a service) account on the guest operation system.
