vRanger backups only perform full backups when space-saving backups (differential or incremental) are selected.
In this case, the repository an iSCSI LUN connected to the iSCSI initiator on the vRanger server. Although the cause is not known at this time, the presence of IPv6 or an IPv6 to IPv4 tunnel on the NIC can cause this issue.

Just unchecking the box on the NIC properties is not sufficient so we suggest that, if you can, you edit the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\DisabledComponents per the instructions in the KB article.
