
It is noticed that same vm backed up twice in single job.
This could be due to Virtual machines are listed in the inventory multiple times.
Virtual machines are backed up multiple times in a scheduled job.
1>Attaching a service restart script that only restarted the vRanger service if it finds duplicate VMs in inventory.
2>You will need to copy these files to the vRanger folder.
3>Then start it by running duplicates.bat. Most customers are experiencing this issue happen once per day.
4>So it would probably be best to run this script once a day just before any daily backups are run. (Also you could schedule the script to run before the daily backups start via Task Scheduler.)
If you still notice the same issue then please gather the file C:\Program Files\Dell\vRanger\Inventory.xml along with De-bug & Tasks logs and raise a service request with support .
