ESXi 5.0 quiesced tasks fail after upgrading to vRanger 6.0.1 with the following error:
"Error: 3201 - can't open [datastore] xxxx/xxxxx.vmdk"
It is recommended that you backup the vRanger database before making any changes to vRanger. The following KB will show you how to backup the vRanger database: https://support.quest.com/SolutionDetail.aspx?id=SOL89003
Verify that there are no running vRanger tasks.
Stop the vRanger service.
Browse to the vRanger folder. The default is: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\vRanger.
Download the attached zip file. This file contains the necessary replacement files.
Rename & replace the following files in the Service folder only. (3 files)
Rename & replace the following files in the Client folder only. (8 files)
Rename & replace the following files in both the Client and Service folders (7 files)
Start the vRanger service.
