Replication job fails with: "The attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state"
Description

It is observed that a Replication job fails with: "Error: API Call failed with message: The attempted operation cannot be performed in the current state (Powered on)."
Source and Replica VM's are powered off.
Quiescing is enabled as an option.
Cause

In Virtual Machine options, inside the Configuration Parameters "disk.EnableUUID" option is set to false
Resolution

Set the "disk.EnableUUID" option to true
or
Disable Quiescing option
