Virtual appliance will not power up or appears to have disks from other VM's locked
Description

For several reasons, Hot Add disks can stay mounted to a Virtual appliance after vRanger backup jobs finish.
Cause

Failed, cancelled, or aborted jobs can cause this as well as other factors.
Resolution

On the virtual appliance, click edit settings. See how many disks are listed. If there are any that do not belong to that, VA or belong to other guest VM's, hi-light them and click remove.

DO NOT REMOVE FROM DISK.

This will leave the .VMDK in tact, and attached to the VM guest that owns them.
