For backups run on the vRanger machine:
Open a DOS prompt as administrator and navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Dell\vRanger\201406241100\rofs and run the following commands:
To verify you can check windows services to make sure the DellDRLogSvc is running.
Log directory:
c:\ProgramData\Dell\DR\log
If anything crashes, the dump files are generated in:
c:\ProgramData\Dell\OST\log
For Physical machine backups:
Open a DOS prompt as administrator and navigate to C:\Program Files\Dell\vRangerPhysicalClient\201406241100\rofs and run the following commands:
delldrlogsvc.exe install
delldrlogsvc.exe start

For VA (virtual appliance) based backups
RDA logging will start running, and create log file, once a backup job going to RDA device is run.
Log directory:
/var/log/librofsDell.log
NOTE: Due to our Linux environments not having certain services available, the built-in RDA log rotation will not be available. That being said, the file appears to grow very slowly, but if space is a concern, the user may have to manually clean it up.
