vRanger backup fails "ERROR:CreateSnapshot_Task failed.The API returned: RestrictedVersionFault"
Description

When attempting to deploy a Virtual Appliance to an ESXi host that is a 'Free' VMware license, the deployment fails with "Error:fault.RestrictedVersion.Summary"
Cause

The free version of ESXi does not contain the product feature 'vStorage API', vRanger requires this to communicate with vSphere.
Resolution

License the host with a version of license that is at least 'Essentials'
