Description
When installing vRanger on Windows 2008 servers, the embeded SQL Express installer will fail if the operating system has not been updated. The embeded SQL Express requires Windows Installer 4.5, which is not included in the base installation of Windows 2008. -
Resolution
Perform a Windows Update on the Windows 2008 server. This will install Windows Installer 4.5.
