Replication jobs failing - Error 2181 and/or Error 3185 -
Description
Replications fail with one or both of the following errors.
Error: 2181 - Read from remote host 192.168.37.42: Connection reset by peer FATAL repl_keepalive_fail unable to send keep alive message to replslave [at ping_slaves:742]
Error: 3185 - Read from remote host 192.168.4.204: Connection reset by peer FATAL internal internal error [at pkt_recv_unlock:82]

Cause
This can be caused by duplicate IP addresses on the network, and one of them being used by the VA.

Resolution
Steps to troubleshoot this issue.
1. Shutdown and power off both the Virtual Appliances using the Vsphere client.
2. Ping each address and see if you get a reponse.
3. Change the Virtual Appliance to use a different address that is not being used by another machine.
