Is there a way for Linux VM to interact with vRanger FLR? (4033245)

Normally, restoring files to the original VM is a 2 step procedure:

1. you run FLR and restore files locally on Ranger server;
2. you move restored files to the original VM.

That applies to both Linux and Windows FLR. Customer would like to get access to restored files from original VM.

There is a workaround: you can access share with FLR from Linux or Windows box/VM.

1. You need to know ip address of Ranger Virtual Appliance used for Linux FLR. You can find it under Tools menu - Options - Virtual Appliance - Configuration. See the bottom of this page.
2. Switch to My Repository view and pickup Linux savepoint. Double-click it to launch FLR.
3. When you see FLR window open and filsystems displayed, you can mount share established on VA to browse the files:
   3.1 from Windows: type \\<VA_IP>\vzmount
   3.2 from Linux, type in shell: mount -t cifs //<VA_IP>/vzmount /<mount point> -o username=root,password=vzroot1,ro
   vzroot is default pass for root during VA deployment.
