Why is SoM 7.3 installer requesting Exchange 2007 Management Console SP1 with Rollup update 1 while SP2 is already installed? -
Cause
There is a defect in the installer due to which it cannot detect properly EMC 2007 SP2 -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
To install SoM bypassing the check for prerequisites run the following in the command line:
SpotlightOnMessaging.msi ignoreprerequisites=1
STATUS
