.I would like to monitor that Active sync connections are responding in a timely fashion on my Exchange 2007 servers
Below are the steps to add the most commonly used Active Sync Performance counter to an Exchange Server Health Test.
1. Right click on your Exchange 2007 Server Health Test (or any Exchange Server Health Test that is monitoring your Exchange 2007 servers) and select Edit.
2. On the Left hand side click on “Exchange 2007”
3. Scroll down to Performance counters and Click on the “Add Performance Counter” link
4. Type in one of your Exchange Servers netbois names you want to monitor and select the MSExchange ActiveSync Performance Object and Select the Average Request time counter and click OK and click Finish.
You can add any of the other MSExchange Active sync counters by repeating the same process
Note: MSExchange ActiveSync\Average Request Time
Shows the average time that elapsed while waiting for a request to complete.
Includes Ping Request Time, which can increase the general response time of this counter. Adding ping counters helps clarify where performance is being impacted.
Determines the rate at which Availability service requests are occurring.
