When metrics or thresholds are changed in Spotlight on Exchange diagnostic console and saved to a template for one server, this template is not successfully applied to subsequent servers.
There is a known issue with templates being applied to servers if connection to server has already been created.
WORKAROUND:
-Take a note of all your pre existing connections then delete these connections in the connection manager (File - Connect)
-Then recreate the server connections, at the point of connection Spotlight on Exchange prompts the user which template they would like to apply.

Waiting for fix in a future release of Spotlight on Exchange
After deleting the connection in Connection Manager, while creating the connection again you may receive the message:
"A connection with this name already exists. Please enter a unique name for this connection"
This is also being addressed for a future release of Spotlight on Exchange, to workaround change the Connection name slightly, the Address in the connection second step is not effected and still needs to be the NetBios name of the server.
