External Delivery test fails for mailboxes hosted by server that is part of a Database Availability Group in Exchange 2010
Spotlight on Messaging (SoM) is looking for the tracking logs on the home server, instead of the current active copy.
STATUS
Change Request TF00136190 has been raised for this usse to be fixed in a future release of Spotlight on Messaging.
WORKAROUND
Disable all the tracking log counters and enable all the roundtrip counters. It would be necessary to configure a remote bounced back mailbox to reply or forward back the original messages. SoM will use MAPI to retrieve the bounced back message and delete them. In this way, it's ensured that both outgoing and incoming messages from or to the Exchange Organization are functional. Because SoM doesn't use tracking log for this, there will be no impact from the DAG settings
