Description
How can a Database Availability Group (DAG) be monitored? If a database fails over successfully over to another server the Internal Message Delivery test will still be successful but how can one be alerted if it is now hosted on a different server?

Resolution
Setup a separate test to monitor the status to be only “mounted” on the active copy server. The default value is “mounted” (for active copy) or “healthy” (for passive copy).
