Can the default installation path for UC Analytics be changed? (4280230)

Can the default installation path for Unified Communications Command Suite Analytics be changed from the default of "C:\Program Files\Quest\UC Analytics" to a different drive?

The installation path cannot be changed after the installation is complete. You must specify the path you with to install UCA in during the installation wizard. Only the path for the storage folder can be changed afterwards.

1. To change the Folder path you would need to uninstall and reinstall Unified Communications Analytics (UCA). 

2. If you have already collected data in your database and would like to keep that data. You must follow the Backup and Restore Procedure outlined in the below article to backup the database first.

3. After the database has been successfully backed up via the Backup scripts Steps 1-9 in KB 233179. You can install UCA and then run the Restore scripts to get UCA functioning with your data again. Steps 13-23

Note: the article 233179 references moving to a new machine however the backup / restore procedure is the same if reinstalling UCA.
