Error during installation of Toad Intelligence Central or when starting the TIC Services in Windows. User has privileges or rights and is able to start other Windows Services.
ERROR:
Service ‘Toad Intelligence Central’
(ToadIntelligenceCentral) failed to start. Verify that you
have sufficient privileges to start system services.
Check your Windows Event Logs. If you see the error below:
“Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Toad Intelligence Central\lib\plugin\ha_hub.dll". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.”
Then install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 runtime libraries.
