After installing v25.1, and importing the existing connections from v8.1 (where everything works), it is not possible to connect to any SQL Azure databases using Active Directory Universal with MFA authentication.
The following error shows:
'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.IdentityModeI.Abstractions, Version=6.35.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf385Ead3E4e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'
If you open Toad 8.1 on the same machine, and the same connection works.
WORKAROUND:
Please use v8.1, where the issue doesn't occur.
