Using intellisense causes error "NullReference Exception" -
Description
Getting the error "NullReference Exception" when Toad try to load the intellisense.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create query with table aliases (e.g. Site AS si)
2. Type si. (NullReferenceException occurs)
It also occurs after typing INNER JOIN[space].
intellisense does not throw a NullReferenceException after I type databasename.schemaname. -
Resolution
1. Exit Toad.
2. Go to the directory C:\Documents and Settings\your_user\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software and rename the folder Toad for SQL Server 4.1 to Toad for SQL Server 4.1.old.
3. Startup Toad again to retest the issue.
