Error: "The Add-in 'Dell Toad Add-in' failed to load or caused an exception..." in SSMS 2014.

Using SQL Server Management Studio 2014 (SSMS 2104) and with no other Toad Software application on the Windows 7 box and installing Toad for SQL Server 6.5 for the first time; at the end of the install the following error occurs:

The Add-in 'Dell Toad Add-in' failed to load or caused an exception.
Would you like to remove this Add-in?
If you choose yes, the file it was loaded from,
'C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\Addins\Dell.ToadSSMSAddin.AddIn', will be renamed.

Clicking No will cause the error to occur everytime Toad for SQL Server launches or SSMS 2014.

WORKAROUND:

Run the installation manually from the command line with switch to not install the plugin i.e.

STATUS:

Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad for SQL Server.
