After applying new license key in Toad 5.7 Schema Compare and other options are missing.

After applying new commercial license key in Toad 5.7, certain menu options such as Schema Compare and other options are missing in Tools menu.  These options should be available with any type of Toad key.

Conflict with how the key was generated. It may be specifying a different version of Toad that the key is being applied on (i.e. term key cut for version 6.1 specifically, but is being registered and used in version 5.7)

Solution 1:

Upgrade to the latest version of Toad for SQL Server. The latest version can be found here.

Solution 2.

A new license key needs to be generated that is designed for Toad version 5.7.

Go to the Licensing Assistance page to request a new key for this particular version.

** If this is an enterprise license or a license that is term limited, please contact someone within your own organization, so that they can make the request to Quest.

This issue may apply to various versions of Toad.
