Where does Toad store the notes entered via Object Explorer | Notes option?
Description

In Object Explorer and other windows, user can right-click on an object to add Notes to that objects. Where does Toad store these notes?
Resolution

Notes added to objects in Toad are stored in “Quest.PersistentCache.xml” file under the below path:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad Common Files\Object Annotation Cache
This path can also be viewed using Toad:
1. Select Tools | Options menu option.
2. Select Database | Cache from left-side tree.
3. Path shown under “Object Annotation Cache” section.
