How to uninstall the Toad add-in from MS Studio ?

RESOLUTION 1:
Here are steps to uninstall SSMS add-in:
1. Run CMD with administrator privileges.
2. Navigate to Toad install directory, "SSMS Installation" subfolder for instance on 64bit machine:
cd "c:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Toad for SQL Server 6.x\SSMS Installation"3. Run the following command where third parameter is TSS install directory, by default on 64-bit machine it should be:
SsmsInstallation.exe Uninstall "c:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Toad for SQL Server 6.0"
Note: The 'Quest Software' folder above could be replaced with 'Dell' folder depending on your version. Also the 'x' in '6.x' refers to the TSS version number you have.
RESOLUTION 2:
1) Fully exit all Toad.
2) Go to the Registry location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\AddIns\Dell.Toad.SSMSAddin35.Connect
3) Rename the "Dell.Toad.SSMSAddin35.Connect" by adding "_OLD" in the name. Start and re-test if the error is resolved.
