Toad for SAP Solutions connection error: "<server_name> (<user>), (<db_name>). There is no server listening at <server_name>:5000" (4295961)

Unable to or cannot connect to the database. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, and gets the error below.

Error:

"<server_name> (<user>), (<db_name>). There is no server listening at <server_name>:5000"

Try using an IP address instead of the server name (or vice versa) in the connection properties of your saved connection.

Or create two saved connections; one using an IP address, and the other using a server name. This way, if it seems one or the other sometimes work and sometimes not, you have both as saved connections and you can just try connecting one or the other saved connection.
