I just upgraded to Toad 11.0. I'm noticing in the editor that some of my pl/sql scripts are populated with blue wavy underlines. What is this supposed to indicate?
'Check Code Analysis rules as you type' is enabled
In Toad 11, by default, Code Analysis automatically checks the code in the Editor for rule violations. Any violations are underlined with a wavy blue line.
You can review further information about this in Help. Search for 'Analyze code in editor'
You can switch this feature off in the Editor by going to
View | Toad Options | Code Analysis | General and unchecking 'Check Code Analysis rules as you type'
There is a Quest video posted on youtube which hightlights the new Code Analysis features (formerly Code Xpert)
