Toad is slow to startup, sometimes taking 15 minutes to start.
Once the login window appears though, Toad works fine.
The antivirus program (in this instance 'F-Secure') scans for the default printer, and because of this, looking for the default printer takes a long time for Toad to start.
Check if it is possible to print a document on your computer.
If the Windows print dialog also takes a long time to open, please check if this is caused by the antivirus program.
If so, please exclude the printer files from scanning.
Fixing this problem with the printer and the antivirus resolves the issue with the slow Toad startup.
