Getting error Cannot create file C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\QSAuth11.key. Access is denied when opening Toad.
User has read/write access to that folder and is in the Power Users group.
When trying to manually delete the QSAuth11.key file, the message File is already in use appears .
This error appears straight after rebooting the computer(even before starting Toad).
1] Reboot your PC and dont start any programs. Go directly to the file and delete it.
2] If Windows still complaints that this file is in use, please contact your IT department.
There are tools that allow you to solve this problem and some of them are free.
