How to permanently save the desktop layout of Toad so it looks the same once you exit Toad and reopen it.
1. Select View | Toad Options.
2. On the left hand side, select Toolbars/Menus | Toolbars.
3. On the right hand side, check the Auto-save Current Desktop check box and hit OK.
