On launching Query Builder, the following warning message is displayed:
"The Query Builder has been restricted for connection. You can still use the Code Road Map, however it will be operating without a connection"
Query Builder does not launch after clicking on 'OK'
WORKAROUND
Reset all User Files settings:
* Save all current work as the following will close Toad. *
Go to Utilities | Copy User Settings | Select 'Create a clean set of user settings from base installation *** see additional info
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle
*** Note that this workaround will create a clean set of settings files, however all files will be stored in XX.x_BAK folder
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\XX.x_BAK (for XP)
or
C:\Users\<username>\Appdata\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\XX.x_BAK (for Windows XP)
