When connecting to office via VPN the following error occurs when launching or starting Toad:
"No argument for format '%s' "
A mapped drive onto which the Toad ‘AppData’ setting is pointed to (see the sample below) have been changed or disconnected.
Sample contents of the “SettingsLocation.ini” file:
TOAD 10.5]
AppData=P:\src\sql\
Path=C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle 10.5\
Version=10.5.0.41
Usual or default location of the “SettingsLocation.ini” file:
XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USER>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\
-OR-
Vista or 7:
C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\
Re-map the drive or put the correct path location for the ‘AppData’ setting in the “SettingsLocation.ini” file AND/OR ensure the drive your Toad ‘AppData’ setting is pointing to is connected / valid / online.
