User made changes in the Team Coding settings for Toad for Oracle. After making these changes Toad no longer launches. It either crashes or takes a very long time to startup and appears to hang.
WORKAROUND 1:
1. Shut down Toad.
2. Browse to the location C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.6\User Files.
3. Locate the file Toad.ini. Open it in notepad.
4. Highlight the section within the Toad.ini that starts with "[TEAM_CODING]"
5. Delete that section from the Toad.ini. Save the Toad.ini.
6. See if you can launch Toad.
