Resolution
Uncheck to following to disable all the background processes.
1. ‘View | Toad Options | Editor | Behavior’ and uncheck 'Backup editor every... minutes'
2. ‘View | Toad Options | Editor | Code Assist’ and uncheck all the 'Toad Insight' options
3. ‘View | Toad Options | Toolbars/Menus | Toolbars’ and uncheck 'Auto-save current desktop'
